What Is Your World View?

What Is Your World View?

What would you answer if I were to ask you this question?

What is your world view?

Can you tell me? Have you thought about it?

If this is something you are not able to answer I Strongly advise you to think about it.

It is PROFOUNDLY important.

And it shapes nearly all of your decisions, your motivations, your perceptions and how you view the world and people.

If this is something new to you, allow me to give you some guidance.

Every world view must answer these 4 questions

  1. Where do I come from?
  2. Where am I going?
  3. Why are we here?
  4. Is there a right and a wrong?

You can find out anybody’s world view by the answer to these four questions.

A dear friend of mine has teenage sons who are 17 and 18. As a deeply intelligent woman who was deeply interested in what her son’s friends, or rather the youth at large believed, she started surveying her son’s friends.

Their answers were incredibly confronting. Some of the general consensus follows:

Where do I come from? A combustion of chemical reactions.

Where am I going? After life on earth? Nowhere.

Why are we here? To get maximum pleasure out of life while causing minimal harm to others.

Is there a right and wrong? No. The moral compass is fluid depending on the person and the culture.

Is this what the youth of today are believing?

Is it any wonder that this is the ‘Age of anxiety?’ Is Nihilism sweeping over our generation?

Are there people who haven’t even asked these questions? Going through life on autopilot, and taking their cues and direction from the latest trends in society or the culture of their people?

Beloved, have you asked yourself these questions?

What is your world view? Do you know it?

If you don’t know the answers to these questions, perhaps it is time you found out.

Your world view shapes everything in your life whether you know it or not.

To reign in life, is to know what you are created for.

Dwell on this.

You are deeply loved and richly cherished,

Christine Greenwood

Reign in Life

WINK: I used to be an Aldi’s hater. I REPENT! Did you know they sell velvet chairs? Of the most blissful blue. Yes they do! Not to mention the most delectable bliss balls! For a smashing price too…. Anyhow just saying. I am an Aldi convert. On the weekend, Mark and I even got the blue Aldi trolley tag. We are in the Aldi’s cult now. I do have to admit, I do find it hard to not get annoyed at the cashier lady as they as they mercilessly pile my groceries up at the speed of lighting, much too fast for me to keep up with. I am new to this self-bagging situation okay lady?! Slow down! I am not sure what the almighty rush is!
