Inside Thoughts

5 Things I Loved This Week

As I Doctor, I can find myself surrounded by people who are dying. It makes me pretty obsessed with living. Getting the most out of each and every day.

Here are some of the things I have LOVED this week.

  • 1. Podcast Number One.

Exploring the Prophetic Shawn Bolz interviews Robie Dawkins, a powerful Evangelist who is featured in Father of Lights and Holy Ghost and Furious Love. He talks about his mandate to go to Afghanistan to preach the gospel, heal the sick and bring deliverance. I have been thinking about this for days after listening to it. His heart for the middle East, in many ways the forgotten church, makes me burn inside.

  • 2. Podcast Number Two.

Exploring the Prophetic. Shawn Bolz interviews Mike Frank. This absolutely filled me with fresh inspiration. Mike was a high level executive at General Mills and PepsiCo and Walt Disney. He sold a company for over 100 billion dollars…. Yep you heard right… He and his wife have learned how to hear God’s voice and do business accordingly. The way he has lived with integrity and generosity with people like Oprah as his neighbours really excited me. Please listen.

Oh my goodness. Do you have Spotify? Get this immediately. I just want to cry and worship when I listen to it. I feel the magnetic presence of God overwhelm me when I play it. I am picturing a big black choir whenever I hear it…. LUSH. Seriously so so delicious.

Do you guys know about Catch of the day? Sometimes I love to go on it for just a browse. There are some serious deal on there. Every day they have daily deals. If you need something that you are buying anyway, have a look on catch of the day. They have some serious specials and it is FUN to have a look.

  • 5. Food.

Mark and I have been married for a decade this week. We are going to my favourite place: the Gold Coast. I want to eat here at the cardamom pod. I have also been trying my hand at all sorts of fish dishes this week. I loved this fish curry recipe. I substituted the curry powder for two tablespoons of yellow curry paste. Delicious… And just to be completely transparent.. I used Basa fillets from Aldi. It cost $6.99 for 6 fillets. And they were delicious.

That’s it from me this week.

Remember our time in this world is finite. Every day is a gift.

Be present. Love one another.

Remember to enjoy:

Every. Single. Day.

You are deeply loved and richly cherished,

Dr Christine Greenwood

Wink: Imagine living next to Oprah…… Seriously I couldn’t even imagine. Do you think I could drop over with a cake? Actually she would probably be healthy. I could give her some grain free granola… I am BORN to be neighbours with Orpah!

P.S

Did you get last weeks four things?
