Don’t Be Allergic To A little Hard Work

We live in a society where it is all about:

Chasing your dreams

Fulfilling your destiny

Accomplishing what is on your heart

I love this. I am P A S S I O N A T E about seeing people thrive in their destiny. However if you look at all those people around who have accomplished big things, people who are literally changing the world, you will see that behind the scenes:

Success looks a lot like hard work.

Kayla Itsines, the founder of the SWEAT which has a world wide millions of girls following is driven, hardworking and tireless. Listening to a day in her life, I know she works passionately and endlessly. She is not the only one.  Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Oprah, if you follow their lives, they have worked tirelessly with more discipline and drive than most.

I too have huge dreams on my heart. Ones that I would be hesitant to say out loud. Right now I work an average of 13 hour days and most weekends. I am often on call during the week and on weekends. Yet I still make sure I take time to write every single week. I make sure I carve out time to write books and plan strategically for my brand and business.

This often feels the opposite of sexy. Sometimes writing is the L A S T thing I feel like doing. In addition studying for my job very rarely feels sexy and building my brand is often more like hard work than fun. So why do I do it? Because that is part of my calling. And I AM FULLY aware that to fulfil my destiny will take a lot of hard work.

The road is not always going to be easy and lined with marshmallows and roses. The work is not always full of unrelenting joy.

Beloved. You can accomplish whatever is on your heart. The sky is the limit. But do not be mistaken. It will take hard work. It will take discipline. It will take clear vision. And some of the time it looks and feels the opposite of sexy and fun.

I think we will all learn in hindsight that it was the journey along the way where we built our character, learned the skills, perseverance and tenacity that was needed for the responsibilities that comes with the fulfilment of our destinies.

So Work Hard Beloved. Learn to Find Joy in the Business!

Our hard work and commitment will pay off. I know it will.

You are deeply loved and richly Cherished

Wink: Learning ways to unwind is something I am constantly on the search for. Lately I have been loving playing old pop songs that I grew up with . Hottest 100 from the year 2000 from Spotify? So good. Remember Six pence non the richer, “so kiss me” or Backstreet Boys “Rock your body”? Or P Diddy “Missing you” Take a trip down memory lane. It is so so good.

Hey christine, in your busy life #metoo, how do you maintain yourself the little things like sleep, how many cups of coffee, how do you keep yourself awake, eat healthy, cook, make time for friends, even down to spend as much time with God as you can and just have energy basically? I’m 18 and I struggle with all these little things. my life is a constant go go go. Somedays I just want to drop everything, how do you persevere through it all?
