What Are You Believing For In Pain?

What are you Believing For?

Beloved.

I want to write from a deeply vulnerable place today.

There are secret desires and longing in my heart that I have had for years. Things that Greenie and I are yet to see come to pass. In fact there have been disappointments and tragedies that have happened in these areas that have been gut wrenching and heartbreaking.

There have been times, even recently, when I have been tempted to question God’s goodness. Wonder if He was actually Kind. Wonder if He was hearing my prayers, wonder if He felt my pain…

I listened to a timely podcast by a man called Bill Johnson who is an inspirational speaker and leader. He said this. “There is no pain in heaven. Our time on earth is our only opportunity to choose to trust God in the midst of our pain.” In this podcast, Papa Bill reminded us again that the key is worship and gratitude.

This spoke to me so deeply when I needed it the most. Now is the only opportunity I can choose to worship and trust my God even in the midst of unanswered prayers.

May I ask you beloved?

What are you believing for? What are those unanswered dreams, those secret longings in the depth of your heart that you have been praying for, hoping and dreaming will come true for months, years and maybe even decades?

A partner? A baby? A wayward child to come home? Financial breakthrough? Relationship restoration? Your health?

Beloved ones. His promises are Yes and Amen. What we are believing for will come to pass. The most important thing is that we choose to trust Jesus. That we choose to worship him. To choose joy and choose worship.

He is kinder than we can imagine.

Even in the midst of not seeing what we are believing for, let’s not miss this one opportunity we have to trust God in the midst of pain. In the meantime let us stand on our promises in faith.

I have written out what I want to see come to pass. Literally! I have declarations written out that I speak out at every opportunity. I say them so often I have memorised them.

I encourage you to do the same. Speak out what you are believing for. Be specific and declare them over your self everyday.

I am confident that every promise he has made to me, He will bring it to pass.

I am confident that every promise he has made to you, He will bring it to fruition.

I know he will. Let us choose trust and worship together while we put our trust in him.

The best is yet to be.

You are deeply loved and richly cherished.

Wink:

My mango mania continues… I know it is pre-season but there is no price to high. And the bigger the better. I look like a nutter smelling the mangoes and inspecting them like they are live children. I have even thought about going to a mango farm to try and buy quality in bulk. Why am I so obsessed? Maybe mango mania is an actual condition!

P.P.S Here is the podcast that listened to from Bill. Called Words that build thrones. Life changing.
