4 Ways to Hold A Victorious Mindset

We all relish the success stories. Tales of those who have triumphed, succeeded and overcome. Those who have walked through huge relationship breakdowns, those who have made millions after living in financial stress, those who have seen miraculous breakthroughs with their health.

What is not spoken about as much however, is the weeks, months, years and sometimes decades that people have spent consistently believing and acting in faith until they see the fruit of what they have been sowing into, sometimes for what may have seemed like eternity.

Craig Groeschel says this:

“Successful people do consistently what normal people do occasionally.”

Consistently putting your mind on things above, makes victory inevitable for you.

Beloved ones. You know the promises and dreams that you are believing for. I shared last week that there are promises I am still waiting on to come to pass. There are prophesies on my life that I am believing for and making decisions about with them in mind. They keep me going through 13 hour work days. They keep me writing when I am barely awake enough after work to keep my eyes open. These words keep me believing, even if everything and everyone is telling me the opposite. It isn’t easy. I, like perhaps you, can struggle to discipline my mind to have the right perspective and maintain hope.

4 Things I Do To keep A Victorious Mindset:

  • 1. Speak Declarations Out loud. I have written out two pages of declarations which I say out loud as often as I can. I try to do this every few days. I speak out the health that I am believing for, I speak out my prophetic words and speak out my destiny. I get very specific and speak them over myself as if they have already come to past.

For example, a declaration I say in regards to business and medicine is this:

My 8-week restart program and book has gone all over the world and millions of people are subscribed and being transformed in their physical, mental and spiritual health.

  • 2. Choose Worship. You heard me speak about this last week. This has been life changing for Greenie and I. Every chance I get I play, sing or think about worship. There is something about musical worship that changes my spirit and my perspective and helps me remember I am a beloved daughter and I carry the favour of Jesus and the fragrance of heaven. It is magical. If you missed my favourite songs you can get them here. Alternatively you can follow our playlist called choosing worship on Spotify.

  • 3. Meditate on Scripture.  Greenie and I have been marinating on this verse this week. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight oh Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14. Choosing very carefully what to focus my mind on has been so important keeping my perspective right and my heart soft and full of faith. I have been saying  this verse over and over and have made it motto these last couple of weeks. We also have the ‘DWELL’ Audio Bible App that we play as we drift of to sleep at night. Stunning!

  • 4. Do something kind for someone else every day. Becoming inward when times are hard is so destructive. Actively choosing to be kind to someone in some way is a game changer. Either by writing a letter, or giving a prophetic word, or making a cake, or buying a little treat. Something that makes me get out of myself and into someone else’s world just makes all the difference. This brings me so much joy and keeps my perspective on others. Becoming insular and self-consumed is dangerous and counterproductive. Being intentional about showing kindness to others shakes us all out of our own troubles and reminds us that we are alive for so much more than ourselves.

These are four things that have helped me tremendously in the last few months.

Implement one or all of them my beloved one and keep on keeping on.

The Best Is Yet To Be.

You are deeply loved and richly cherished,

Dr Christine Greenwood

Wink: Okay one thing NOT helping my mind frame remain victorious right now is the way Greenie is crunching his way through a packet of ‘Delite’ chips next to me while I write. Seriously any louder and one would think there was an eruption happening on the couch. When I am rich I am going to have a sound proof office with a lock that Greenie will NOT know the code to. Gosh…..

P.S  Have you read What are you believing for through your pain
