I read an excerpt out of my new favourite book, ‘Everybody Always‘ By Bob Goff. As I read it I felt simultaneously convicted, confronted and deeply inspired.
Allow me to share a paragraph from his book with you. It is what I believe, is the opposite of Gossip.
“Talk behind each other’s backs constantly. Just talk about the right stuff. Talk about Jesus. Talk about grace. Talk about love and acceptance.
People Don’t grow where they are informed, they grow where they’re loved and accepted. Talk about who people are becoming and who you see them turning into. And give people medals. Lots of them. The people around us should be walking around looking like the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They should jingle when they walk.
It’s this simple: I want people to meet you and me and feel like they’ve just met everyone in heaven.”

Mull on this my beloved.
I have read it over and over and am letting it sink into my spirit.
You are deeply loved and richly cherished,

Wink: I am so convicted I can barely wink… Do you think the above counts when you are driving and experiencing sub-optimal driving skills and road manners in the fellow drivers around you? I think no. You?
P.S. Have you read Toxic Gossip?
