Coronavirus Stories To Make You Smile

All around the country, Australians are lending a hand, opening their hearts and helping out one another.

I have been posted to Emergency. Due to a hospital shortage of scrubs, in light of the coronavirus, we are asked to source our own. I found a girl on Facebook, who was selling hers. When I went to buy them, she gave them to me for free. I found them in a bag on her veranda neatly folded and washed. I left her a present of my favourite chocolates. And we both made each others day.

My girl Olive and her Husband JT just put a post on their Instagram reaching out to anyone who had lost their jobs or were struggling to pay their rent, offering help, money or food.

The owners of Joy restaurant Tim and Sarah Scott recently shut their doors like every other restaurant owner. However, instead of wallowing in misery, they reached out to every casual worker in hospitality asking anyone in trouble to contact them so they could do what they could to help. So inspiring!

On our way to pick up our scrubs, one of the houses had a box outside their home on their fence filled with food for people to pick up if they needed.

I am overwhelmed and blessed by each and every one of you. We love one another. We are generous, caring, and we will get through this together.

You are deeply loved and richly cherished.

Wink: It will be a SITUATION if we get quarantined in our little one-bedroom apartment and Greenie can’t use the lobby toilet to poo. Now that will really be the test to see if I am born again.
