- 1 – Book
This book. I can’t even. This man has sold more than 24 million books. He is called America’s number one leadership authority and I have a HUGE mentor crush on him. He says that leader after leader approaches him to tell him that the one book which single-handedly has had the biggest impact on them is this one. AND I AGREE. It’s my second time reading and will NOT be my last.
And Greenie is reading it too now as I wouldn’t shut up about it!
- 2 – Recipe
This week I bought mushrooms and we happened to have leftover cream and parmesan in the fridge. We have a downstairs garden with oregano in it. Hence, we had the most exquisite dish, Creamy Mushrooms. It. Was. MOORISH. A little naughty but that’s okay.
- 3 – Thought of the week
I am trying to have a thought that I marinate over each week. Here is this week’s thought from the book I mentioned above:
“What would you do if you knew you would not fail?” – John Maxwell.
A question from the epic book I am reading… Got me thinking.
Okay let me answer a few. I will get super vulnerable. Maybe you could too?
- I would start medical clinics centred around functional medicine, with multiple medical specialties, complete with cooking classes, exercise classes, an epic restaurant/café/ etc.
- I would start healing rooms to be run by equipped members of the church and Academy students.
- I would start a food brand with multiple bars, cereals and tasty morsels.
- I would start preparing a kids room, for having children.
What about you? What would you do if you knew you would not fail?
- 4 – Hunger Games.
Someone like me literally needs to force one’s self to have downtime. Having given up trying to find any quality TV shows, Greenie and I embarked a watching this movie series again. I found it very creative, with so many parallels to real life and society. We are enjoying it immensely as our weekend treat curled up in bed, watching it with our favourite treats.
That’s it from me!
You are deeply loved and richly cherished.

Wink: Obsessed with John Maxwell right now. I even googled what his family looked like. Looked at pictures of his wife. Is that weird? Is this stalking? Well, guilty as charged.
P.S Did you catch Last weeks highlights?
